PAUSE.
VERIFY.
CALL SOMEONE YOU TRUST.

  • Nobody legitimate needs you to panic.
  • Never trust the number on an incoming call.
  • Hang up and call back using a number you find.
  • Never read out a verification code.
  • Never move money because someone says it is “for your protection.”
  • A family member asking urgently for money can still be a fake voice.
  • If someone demands secrecy, stop.
  • If unsure, do nothing yet.

WHEN IN DOUBT:
STOP. HANG UP. CHECK.
