QUESTIONS FOR THE DEVIL is philosophical fiction. The Devil in these pages is a literary character, not a claim that the author interviewed a supernatural being. When the Human asks a direct question, the character cannot knowingly answer with a false statement.
The conversation examines temptation, self-deception, appetite, ego, status, envy, resentment, power, fear, shame, greed, tribalism, and the stories people tell themselves before doing what they already wanted to do.
