Sonny Saggar, MD, trained in England, at Oxford and at St. Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College, and spent twenty five years practicing emergency medicine in the United States, including a brief stretch as a hospital chief executive officer. In 2023, he was indicted, and later incarcerated. He wrote his first book, GROUND, by hand on paper during his sentence in a federal prison camp, and completed it after his release from custody. Today, he writes about regulatory systems, administrative law, and collateral consequences from his home in St. Louis, Missouri. He is the founder of The New Physician.
